Who will prepare the Contract of Sale?
If you are selling through real estate agents, generally the agents will prepare the pre-printed contract by inserting the party and property details. However, real estate agents cannot give legal advice on the contract, draft clauses or modify the pre-printed contract in any way. If you need pre-contract advise or assistance with special conditions, please feel free to contact us. We are conveyancing experts who have been trained in this area of law and have the competence to guide you through a transaction to ensure your interests are protected.
If you are selling your property privately we can prepare the contract of sale for you.

When should I engage a conveyancer or solicitor when purchasing a property?
It is advisable to engage a conveyancer or solicitor before you begin the search for your next property or as soon as you find the house you want to purchase. A conveyancer or solicitor will be able to guide you through the settlement process, provide pre-purchase contract advice, undertake necessary checks, represent your interest, and settle the property.
Most QLD settlements will be processed online via PEXA (online settlement platform). The client does not need to join the settlement in person. If paper settlement is required, we will attend settlement on your behalf. On the settlement date, the settlement will be completed in 1-2 hours after all parties sign off the required documents. After the settlement is complete, we will notify you to collect keys from your Real Estate Agent.
